Individual counselling

I provide my clients with support in two ways. First, through a healing and trusting therapeutic relationship. Second, through the strategies, knowledge, and professional objectivity I have gained through my training. In our sessions, we collaborate on your goals and work toward them in an environment grounded in encouragement and insight.

Anyone can seek support from a therapist or counsellor, regardless of age or the nature of their personal concerns. Many people reach out during life transitions, relationship issues, grief, anxiety, trauma, or other personal challenges.

Therapy sessions with me involve getting to know you as a whole person within your context, including past experiences, family dynamics, and culture. My experience also includes working with Indigenous and immigrant individuals.

Ultimately, our work together is in service of your growth, your connection to yourself, others, and the world, and your sense of belonging. I value helping people develop insight, clarity, and the courage to live in alignment with their values.

My core therapeutic lens is Adlerian psychodynamic therapy. I also draw on interventions and tools from other modalities, including trauma-informed approaches, EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing), narrative therapy, parts work, emotion focused therapy (EFT), inner child work, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

Every client is unique. My aim is to walk alongside you in your journey and honour your process, while gently directing attention to areas that may benefit from deeper examination and reflection in support of your growth. It would be a privilege to do this work with you.
