Its important that you feel fully informed about the costs associated with counselling, including what my rates are, how payment works, and how you can be re-imbursed by insurance.

My rates and billing
Therapy sessions are $160 CAD for a 50-minute individual appointment and $190 for a 50-minute couples appointment. I offer all new clients are offered a free 20-minute consultation to discuss what you are hoping to work on, assess fit, and address any initial questions.
After each session, I provide a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement, depending on your plan. It is recommended that you confirm in advance whether your coverage includes services provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). My services are typically reimbursed by extended health benefits across British Columbia depending on your specific plan and insurer requirements.
Payment is due at the end of each session and can be made by e-transfer or credit card. Direct billing is not currently available.

20 minute introduction call
I offer all new clients a first free 20 minute consultation so we can get to know each other better, ensure that we are the right fit, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
50-minute individual session
My standard fee is $160 CAD per 50 minute individual therapy session. I charge the same rates for in-person or virtual counselling as well as evening or weekend sessions.

Payment
Our booking system makes paying for counselling very easy. Payment is due at the end of each session and can be made by e-transfer or credit card. Direct billing is currently not yet available.
Re-imbursement through insurance
I provide a receipt after payment, which you may submit to your insurer for reimbursement, depending on your coverage. Please check with your provider to confirm if services by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) are covered.
Cancellation
Please notify me at least 24 hours before our planned session if you need to cancel. This allow me to plan my schedule and availabilities for other clients.
